Tequila and Salt!

This should probably be taped to your bathroom mirror where one could read it everyday. You may not realize it, but it’s 100% true.

1. There are at least two people in this world that you would die for.

2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.

3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you.

4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don’t like you.

5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.

6. You mean the world to someone.

7. You are special and unique.

8. Someone that you don’t even know exists loves you.

9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.

10. When you think the world has turned its back on you take another look.

and call me over!

Good friends are like stars……..You don’t always see them, but you know they are always there.

“Whenever God Closes One Door He Always Opens Another, Even Though Sometimes It’s Hell in the Hallway”

Happiness!

Do you want happiness? This simple question will always be answered with “YES”. Yes, we all, without exception, want to have happiness, although the idea of what constitutes happiness and how it can be obtained differs person to person.

In building a happy, purposeful life, we should exercise our compassion and wisdom. What is compassion? Compassion is love, charity, kindness and tolerance. It is acting out of love and concern for all, especially when they are in an unfortunate situation. And what is wisdom? Wisdom is seeing things as they are, and acting out the illustrious qualities of mind.

The ingredients for happiness are simple. Happiness is a state of mind. It cannot be found in material things, such as wealth, power or public reputation.

“HAPPINESS IS IN THE JOURNEY, NOT IN THE DESTINATION!”

Fears!

A person becomes afraid when he is confronted with a critical situation which he cannot cope. Such an emergency sets up bodily reactions which tend to mobilize the person’s energies. If running seems posible, the person will use this energy to run. If fighting seems possible, the person will use this energy to fight. If there is nothing that can be done, the person becomes the immediate response to the emergency, the adjustment should be dealing with the fear situation.

If a person desires to make the best possible adjustment to an emergency situation, he/she should:

- Direct his/her attention and energy toward that the thing
that produces threat to his/her well-being.

- In the fear persists without any apparent good reason, it can be assumed that the fear is a disguise designed to conceal some other
situation.

In such a case, it is no good to attempt to overcome the fear. The only successful thing to do is to uncover what is being concealed, and to read just to it.

The fear experienced should be the cue of the person that something should be done about the situation arousing the fear.

Make a definite adjustment to the cause of the fear. Don’t pretend that you are not afraid. Face the reality…:)

The Hardest Thing!

a. admitting you were wrong after you have been so insistent that you were right
b. swallowing your pride when it has become TOO HARD and TOO BIG to even gulp it down with water
c. being the LAST TO KNOW about something that CONCERNS you most of all
d. realizing that you have been TRICKED after you have given your WHOLE TRUST
e. realizing that you have the most IMPORTANT thing for granted
f. PARTING with someone you’ve just LEARNED to LOVE
g. Letting GO of someone you’ve LOVED ALL YOUR LIFE
h. Losing someone you care deeply about
i. bracing yourself with the worst kind of pain…& still hurting so much
j. loving someone too much and learning to love the pain that goes with it…that even if you learned to let go of the person…you still go on missing the pain you once felt (and there it goes, you fall again)
k. denying to yourself that you’re falling…then finally you realize that indeed you have fallen when it’s too damn late and you can’t get out
l. being with someone else when the right one comes along (oooh it’s sad to belong…) awww, this really hurts…
m. knowing deep inside that you love someone yet you can’t say it out loud

“Take chances, make mistakes. That’s how you grow. Pain nourishes your courage. You have to fail in order to practice being brave.”

Maybe!

Maybe God wanted us to meet the wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.

Maybe when the door of happiness closes, another person opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don’t see the one which has been opened for us.

Maybe the best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you’ve ever had.

Maybe it is true that we don’t know what we have got until we lose it, but it is also true that we don’t know what we have been missing until it arrives.

Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they will love you back. Don’t expect love in return, just wait for it to grow in their heart. But if it does not, be content it grew in yours.

It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

Don’t go for looks, they can deceive. Don’t go for wealths, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile.

There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real.

Dream what you want to dream. Go where you want to go. Be what you want to be. Because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy.

Always put yourself in other’s shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the other person, too.

The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives.

Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a tear.

The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you can’t go well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you are the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.
